The Greatest Home Run Hitter of All-Time…
While Hank Aaron is the career all-time Home Rums leader, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, and Barry Bonds are sluggers of a different type. Ruth, Mays and Bonds all hit 50 or more Home Runs in a season at some point in their carrer, a mark Aaron never reached. Aaron’s single season high was 49 – his success was based on longevity, not sheer power hitting. The Babe would be my choice for greatest home run hitter of all time.

Did Kerry Collins lose his starting job this weekend?
Who should the New York Football Giants start at QB this coming season, veteran Kerry Collins, or newcomer and first overall NFL Draft pick Eli Manning? I would start Kerry Collins for one more year, giving Manning a chance to learn the Giants system and gain some NFL experience. The job is surely Manning’s in the future, but I’d give him a season behind Collins to learn the ropes. Kerry Collins is already prepared to be the Giants starter. Before throwing Manning to the NFL defensive wolves, the Giants need to build an offensive line. Neither quarterback would do well with the same dysfunctional line the Giants fielded last season. Eli will be a superstar within in a few short years, and hopefully rise to superstardom like his brother, Peyton, and his father Archie.

Who would pick to start Your NBA Team: Yao Ming, Carmelo Anthony, or Lebron James?
While Carmelo Anthony and Lebron James have earned a lot more recognition then Houston's Yao Ming, Yao is 7" 5' and should potentially take over games like his current opponents in the Western Conference, Tim Duncan and Shaq regularly do. Carmelo and Lebron should be able to dominate in a few years as well, but don’t have Yao's size, which is a major factor. For that reason I would take Yao to start my franchise, over both Carmelo and Lebron.

Are the Knicks Heading in the Right Direction?
The Knicks best midseason move was clearly firing former GM Scott Layden. Isiah Thomas brought in Stephon Marbury, Vin Baker, Tim Thomas and Nazr Mohammed – a superstar and some size. They aren’t yet in a position to win the championship or even really make a run in the Eastern Conference, but they are now a respectable team and borderline a fun one to watch. They are still a few moves away from being a contender, but should make the playoffs, while most likely being eliminated in the 1st Round.

Is the 2004 New York Yankees Pitching Staff really that bad?
The Yankees boast one the top three pitching Staffs in Major League Baseball. Their starting rotation contains three of the top ten pitchers in the game, Javier Vasquez, Kevin Brown, and Mike Mussina. They also have the best bullpen in baseball featuring Tom Gordon, Steve Karsay, Paul Quantrill, and of course their ace, Mariano Rivera. As long as their starting pitchers throw strikes and get outs like they have in the past, it wont matter if they are all right handed hurlers. Lack of lefty’s will only matter in the bullpen. The Yanks may look for a lefty if their fourth starter fails them, in which case look for them to acquire Odalis Perez or Randy Johnson. Clearly, Steinbrenner and Cashman should have resigned Andy Pettitte, but the Yanks still have enough pitching to go all the way in 2004.
